February is National Children’s Dental Health Month and this year’s theme is Brush Floss Smile! The month-long celebration is a wonderful opportunity to promote oral health for all children. Every child should have their teeth brushed with fluoridated toothpaste twice per day and flossed once per day. It is also important to provide children with healthy snacks, limit their sugar-sweetened drinks, and make sure they visit the dentist every six months.
